Hell even with 350whp this car is sort of starting to feel slow. Or maybe I just need to go faster.

the real question is why do you need to save 1 second going 0-60 when you waste 3600 seconds per hour on the interwebz...

Our car is not fast. Our car is not even "quick" in my book. Its fun as hell, hugs those corners and I love the shit out of it, sounds great, but it gets walked by my boss's Ram 1500.

If you bought the car to compare 0-60 times with family cars in order to validate your purchase then IDK what to say.
Sounds like we come from the same boat. My 135i was quick, but the FR-S is much more fun even though it's a lot slower.

Every vehicle has a purpose. Need to haul 2x4s? I drive the Ram. Need to get some good mpg and have some fun? Drive the FR-S. Need to go offroad and run over some rocks larger than the FR-S? Drive the FJ. The twins aren't designed to be a rocketship any more than my FJ is designed to carve corners.

This car is AT LEAST as fast off the line as my truck is. (Most likely faster.) Which, admittedly doesn't sound very impressive, but it is honestly quite good enough for me. My truck rarely disappoints me, and seeing as this car is a step forward, I'm sure I'll be more than satisfied with it. (When I finally pull the trigger on purchasing one... )

In reallife situations you don't race that camry or mini van from the light.

It's 20 feet from the light or somewhere down the road where you want to pass to merge.

Because the FRS is low HP and low torque you will never win.

Try punching your car at 65 mph and see how fast you are against the camry.

People in Camries and minivans dont know how/bother to downshift on demand, so there's a delay from the slushbox when they step on it. As long as you're not afraid to rev the balls out of your engine, the twins have no problem passing V6 family road hogs. Factor in guts and reaction time as well.

I might be overthinking or trying to picture this too literally but I don't understand that analogy lol. Sounds interesting though! Lol

It's like a microscopic view of an awesome display. Supreme, earth shattering power, but confined to a cubic inch of earth.

There are things I don't understand about people's thoughts about this car and their desires to modify it in certain ways.

One of those is that it is underpowered/slow.

Makes me think, "for what?"

The only problem I've had passing someone on the highway, it was a McLaren 12C. Uhhh yeah, I think just about anything would be dropped by that beast.

Then again, I'm also not looking for people to drag race, which I just find on the street is like a d!ck comparison. Who cares, just learn how to use it!

The most fun I have in this car is when the caution signs on the road say you should take this next turn at 45 and I'm just fine at 75 and could go more if I wanted to.

The idea at least for me is to get like 20-30 more hp and a better tuned low/mid range. Speed is a feeling, some like it more than others.
