Ahhh I was thinking it was the blank spot like the OEM kit...that button fits in that spot? It looks taller then the hole there....have any pics installed? Very tempting even though the surrounds are gloss nothing some paint wouldnt fix.

Here we go. Took about 3 minutes to get it in.

1 more question. With this kit, could I turn the fog light on whenerver I want? I mean Can I turn it on when my headlight is off or I only can turn it on/off when headlight is on?

Btw, very nice kit, good price and clean.

Don't you have the HID leveling switch here?

The fog lamps would fit though.
Thanks for clarifying, to bad these won't fit

Hopefully the overview video and switch install can get you through it. The bezels in the front just pop in and out. Start with one corner and work your way around.

To run a wire through the firewall grommet this is what I would do. Tape the yellow wire to a metal coat hanger that you've straightened out. Force it through the grommet and grab the other end from inside the vehicle.

My personal vehicle already has fog lights installed so we won't be tearing it down unfortunately.

One main question: That 12 volt ignition tap necessary on the actual switch, is that only to power the actual switch?

I would rather not tap into any actual wiring on the car (such as the switched power), so I'm hoping just hooking up the positive/negative to the battery and plugging in the switch would allow for it to function, WITHOUT running that second power and ground. Could you please confirm? Thank you

You SHOULD be able to find a spot on the fuse box that is ACC and plug into it...thats what Ive done in the past on fog kits

It will not function without that wire being supplied 12V. Basically the switch will not complete the circuit even if it is in the on position without a signal from the red (ignition) wire. This is to allow an installation in which the fog lights turn off as soon as the key is out of the ignition.

I borrowed this image from a thread that borrowed it from another thread. Someone on here earns credit.

The DRL circuit should only be hot with ignition power. Using an "add a fuse" is recommended if you want a configuration which can be returned to stock in the future.

The slashed ones blank no power? Normally they put in extras for additional stuff...Ima take a look with a tester later, either way...any kinda deal for headlight/foglight bundle?

The slashed out ones aren't in use, but usually have constant power prongs. Probably wouldn't want to use that.

Just message me your shipping information and exactly what you were interested in (chrome / black). I'll give you a quote.
