[/IMG]ADD W1 from eBay. I think it was $80 shipped. Us seller. Built VERY well. I would say it is VERY comparable to the radium catch can. One issue. They don't provide sealing washers for the nipples. They do give you 2-9mm and 2-15mm so it is perfect for our application. Buy a couple sealing washers from McMaster and you are golden. I opted to put the provided O ring on the OD of the canister threads because I believe it will seal better. I also put a small O ring on the dip stick. I think radium uses a screen but this will do the same thing. Don't add too much because you don't want to restrict flow. Just something extra for the oil to stick to. [IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG]

For those of you who have installed the intercooler kit, is there some kind of voodoo magic I need to perform to get the hose clamps onto the intercooler posts in the front and back of the charger? Got home late so I couldn't finish up but I was trying to get the lines on and the provided clamps BARELY fit over the hose, and I can't get them over the nipple of those posts. Not sure why they would provide a pressure clamp like that with such little clearance.

I bought new hose clamps, the ones that came with the kit seemed to be really tight and I didn't want to deal with it.

Here's a shot of those brass fittings I linked to installed.
I used 2.5 in of hose between the straight fitting and a brass elbow. I also relocated the wire harness as there just wasn't enough room for me to get everything together back there with it in place. I stacked it on top of the smaller connector which is closer to the firewall and coupled them with zip ties.

with the pipes pointing down it creates so much more space to work behind the SC. Got me thinking....

Oh yeah, and you won't need to pull the blower to replace them. Just cut the old ones off in place.

The L Connectors are almost directly infront of them making it difficult to get too even with the ball end allen key. i also noted that the brake boost connector, no matter how many times i sealed it, due to heat it still comes loose. This time I have used plenty Teflon and loctite, seems to be holding out. |

Nope, mine came with these.they are so tight I don't know how you could get them over, but I don't like worm drive clamps so I'd rather use these but might have no choice and have to switch. |

I'm not a fan of the worm drive clamps either, makes it look like a sprinkler system. I just got my kit so maybe they realized they those were to small.

edit: Just gave Innovate a call, assured me I got the right clamps. Said to give it another shot and if I have an issue call back. Last edited by xxscaxx; 01-14-2014 at 01:02 PM. |

SAE 12 18-32mm, I separately picked up 2 smaller ones for the overflow line since that has a smaller diameter and I didn't want a huge tail.
Hope the spring clamps work.
