does it in 7.5... In an auto.
What does the auto frs/brz do? Official 0-60 is 6.3 for 6MT and 8.0 for 6AT.

My brother still drives my old 1993 Camry LE, 4 cylinder. I thought it was Fast! One time in college, I had 4 of my buddies and me in my Camry and I almost beat the "Laid Law" yellow bus at the stop light. They all laughed at me but hey I thought my Camry was hella fast! Then I moved up to a 2000 Accord, 4 cylinder. Now from that to my FR-S I'm not complaining about the FR-S either, LOL.

So if you use an automatic BRZ it would go about as fast as the Odyssey in a straight line. Quite different than destroying. Most enthusiasts who drive a BRZ would get the manual... and the manual would reach 60mph, 1.5 seconds before the Odyssey. That sounds a bit like "destroying."

It's 3 seconds faster to 60 than a 2013 Civic.
It's 1.5 seconds faster to 60 than a 2013 Accord.
It's .3 seconds slower to 60 than the 2013 V6 Accord (278hp).
It's 2 seconds faster to 60 than a 2013 Camry.
It's .3 seconds slower to 60 than the 2012 Camry V6 (268hp)

That's alright I guess. At least I won't get obliterated by a granny in Camry

When I was making the decision to buy one, I had a friend who already had one so I was able to test drive extensively. And as much as I was trying to convince myself that it was underpowered, I didn't and I ended up buying one - it just felt well balanced, which is something I had never seen before to this extent. It's been said before, this cars feels like you're wearing it, not driving it...

Of course, I am modding it a bit just for a bit more ''pep''.

And no, the car has not been designed for straight line speed (or acceleration really) but it carries so much speed through the bends, even on stock tires, that limited power ends up not mattering much.

Yepe...many people think the 86 will do sub 6 seconds 0-60. It does not, you have 1-2 passengers and it feel horrid.

In fact i agreed with some one said it is relatively comparable to Camry I4.

Camry V6 will smoke 86.

My Rx will also kick it ass with passengers in both.

That shot was taken up on Pikes Peak. A lot of the road on the way up does remind me of the higher elevations on the Sunrise approach to Mt Rainier.
