I don't believe so. My opinion is that the door seals actually ON the door itself are crap - leave your car out in the rain then drive it the next day. Windows are dry right? Roll them down and back up. Now they're wet right? The seals are sub-par and let moisture in - in sub-freezing weather/snow/etc. this causes the windows to freeze. I also believe moisture from the air without rain can be a problem, but have no direct proof of this.

Wow. I can't believe that they're actually fixing this! Can't wait until the Subaru one!

Or maybe they'll pull a fast one like the leaking tails and say that it's normal operation.

Nice, but I'm afraid the techs at local toyota dealer might screw up the process if this requires disassembly of door panel and leaving marks on paint. sigh...

Kind of my worries as well. I have the dash rattle and afraid to take it in because of possible shoddy work. My rear view pretty shaky as well. Along with taillight condensation, pump chirp and freezing windows.

To same extent as this one? Anyone got a copy here because searching for it through Google doesn't give much.

Shit! If I knew that, I would've had it fixed while it was at the dealer for like 2 weeks!

There were threads popping up about this every couple days and we only find out now?

Yea. I knew about it for a while now just haven't done it since my BRZ is put away for winter. I suggest you to request an A tech to perform the job if you can cuz these framless windows are a giant PITA and easily fucked up. Us BRZ guys are better off cuz Subaru techs have experience with frameless windows. Good luck to the FR-S brothers.

I've pretty much always had cars that feature a non-pillar window that cracks down when opening. I can't believe how poorly designed their system is. It will be 30 degrees and my windows screw up.
