Per Whitelines chart the 20mm FSB is only 52% stiffer than the factory 18mm bar on the soft setting and 85% stiffer on the hard setting.

Which is why I am surprised that it took out too much rotation. Hard to get something much softer... I am going to see how it is on the ZIIs vs the RS3s I used to have.

I'll be interested to see if you can make this work. It may be because I may be too abrupt with my turn-in input (too many years of driving wide hoosiers on the front wheels), but I couldn't keep the back end under the car in slaloms with my setup last year (BRZ w/ OE front bar OE dampers, and crash bolts). I had the issue even with the OE tires. Grogan also had the issue when he drove my car at Toledo on Rivals after I had installed the Konis.

Not that this is a very good datapoint, but just my experience. I already have Konis on the car now and have a plan for how I will be attempting to fix it in the spring, we'll see how it goes.

I don't really trust the WL generic charts, I think it's a little stiffer than that.

I felt Sam's bar was somewhere in the middle of the WL bar's two settings and his is supposed to be "85%" stiffer than stock.

Well, since I have not heard of anyone trying the Yokohamas yet, I'll be the guinea pig. I just ordered a set in 225/45/17 since they're on sale right now. I ran the Z2s all last year, so we'll see if the Yokohamas are worth the extra coin.

Definitely keep us updated about the Yokohamas. I'm interested to hear how they do, even though they'll only be legal for this year. Assuming Yokohama doesn't just change the treadwear rating like Hankook did for the RS3s.

I think I am going to pick up a set of Kosei K4Rs and run spacers. 14lbs for $200 a piece.

so skimming over all the other threads, it seems the Ferodo DS2500 brake pads are the way to go for for a balanced performance/street use?
