Does the car come with a self adjustable hydraulic clutch? I remember my 2001 Ford Focus Hatch back would grab at the top. I would never have to fully depress the pedal. I thought something was wrong and I asked a Ford Tech and he told me it was hydraulic and that's how it goes.

I assume having sticky tires, coilovers, and pushing 280whp helped with causing the fade on the back straight and turn one.

I just purchased a Brembo BBK.. I would rather spend the money on brakes then potentially wreck the car or my life
This is one reason I'm avoiding the track until I upgrade brakes and rotors.
Right now, my car is for DD fun. lol

Reminds me of when folks put other engines in the back of their 914 Porsches. I've seen huge engines get put back there in that engine bay, you would be surprised. Personally I wouldn't mind some super high revving Puegot V6 with some crazy high rev limit.

Personally, I find that the "last inch" types are faster because you barely have to touch the clutch to shift. If you can train your foot to go only as far as is necessary, you can cut out a lot of wasted motion. It may not seem like much, but over the course of a few laps (or miles on the twisties) it will add up. The less time you spend between gears, the better your time will be.
