That's one of the reasons I hate being an aspy. mind goes one way, and i don't realize how it sounds until afterwards.

I am honestly curious to see how I woulda done at the dyno day that this shops dyno was at (when i had no money), so hopefully I can find out tomorrow.

and i edited the post that made me sound like a schmuck, because i did sound like a schmuck.

You do realize a dyno dynamics has 2 modes right? Regular (low #'s) and Comparison mode (dynojet #'s). Bill at delicious has show a plot in both modes before. Regular mode showed 260 and comparison mode showed 300. Your 75mm pulley pump numbers make sense for comparison mode. I predict you will make 245-255 on a dynojet.

didn't realize that, but from doing some reading on other forums, looks like you may be right. guess we'll see in a couple of hours (if it's not raining)

New to FI and have some questions...
How many users are running autos with this and how was tuning?
I hear installation is not too difficult. At least compared to the other kits. How long did it take to install (by yourself or with a buddy).
On autos, is 230-240 expected with with the base kit with full 2.5in exhaust and headers or less. Looking for a reliable DD setup, nothing crazy since I drive about 20k miles a year and this looks like it.

took my friend and i 3.5 hours to install, and while neither of us have ever installed forced induction on a car, he is a tech at lexus.

with tuning, i recomend doing some research on the available tunes that are out there, there's a lot of different tuners out there, all with their own methods to their madness. I've got @JuniorAWD doing my tune, and I really like him. Others have used FA20club, and Delicious, and um....shit, tired can't think of other tuners right now.

A local tuner recommended a couple things, first he strongly recommended a header and second if I did not go with a header he said I'd need to install a wideband bung in the exhaust manifold to get a proper AFR reading.

Does anyone have experience with this or having to install this. I haven't heard that mentioned before so I just wanted some more info. Thank you.

I think with eTunes (I pretty much assume any tuner on this platform will tune in person i.e.- Ptuning)
- Delicious
- FA20Club
- Moto-East
- Visconti? (not sure if he still exists in the community)

A header is going to add more power and should lower boost a little bit. The wideband will really help to dial in the A/F ratio. It's really the only true way to know/tune.

it's drizzling out, so i don't know if i'll be able to use their dyno (it's on a trailer, so i don't know if it's inside or outside), and they haven't answered their phones.

I've been doing a bit of research also on finding a belt for the smaller pulley, so i can have that ready to go, and get belt and pulley installed next time JR is down here so i can go straight to dyno tuning.

I have the 70mm pulley and I went with Gates belt K061010, this belt is half inch smaller.

I'm actually using a belt that's about half an inch smaller on the 75mm though, simply because my tensioner would move too much when i'd get on it. but john and i will definately look into this belt as well (if it's not the one i'm already using) for the 70mm

lol. you have no idea. took probably more than 20 minutes just to get the belt on, and we had to rotate the crank to try and pull it on there.
