How does it feel compared to the BRZ one? Is the red stitching feel annoying? Love the look, just not sure I'd like the feel.

Gross! Reminds me of driving home from a late party many years ago when my future wife spewed a technicolor yawn all over the interior of my week-old car. Nearly tossed myself...

She later told me that I must really love her because I didn't lose my cool, and then cleaned up without complaint.

Believe me, I wanted to her!

Installed "Genuine Scion" FRS mudguards following instructions in the following thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...+guard+install

Great instructions with plenty of pics and guidance along with a link to a pdf of the factory install directions.

Simple install that will [hopefully] shield more of the easily-chipped paint.

225/45/17 Super Sports!

They really change the car quite a bit. My Primacies were totally shot-- well into the wear bars and I was sliding all over the place even in the dry. The car really hooks up through corners now. I'm feeling loads on the suspension that just weren't there before. And the ride quality is significantly better too!

The good news is that the car feels very balanced still, grips like crazy, the steering feels better (mostly heavier / less assisted, although there's still the slight lack of tactile feedback overall) and ride quality is much better than the stockers. The bad news is that you don't feel like you're driving on gravel everywhere anymore: although the stock tyres were really loose and totally unsafe (IMHO) any time there was a hint of water on the roads, getting to slide around whenever I felt like it was entertaining. It feels like I won't be doing that anymore.

I'm really looking forward to racking up some more miles on these tyres!

On a less positive note, I also found this:

My resonator looks a bit second-hand. Explains the awful exhaust sound when the system heats up. Man I hoped it would be a gasket or clamp...

I was wearing gloves today, so I can't really tell you. I'll report back later, but I don't think the stitching will be a problem. I did it strictly for looks and can always swap it out with one of my Killer B's later on.

I have the same size PSS and while I'd love something wider for the look, there's plenty of grip. Find a nice twisty road and just go back and forth. You'll notice once the tires warm up they get stickier and stickier. I did this last weekend and was able to push the car harder and harder each run.

If you haven't already dialed in some negative camber in front, do it. You'll be glad you did. Bolts are cheap.

I got to see a semi trailer blow a tire tonight. Ran over a bunch of shredded crap, but looks like the car is ok. I was really dreading that something had hit the bumper/fender.

I ran over a shredded semi tire on the freeway on day five of owning the car. Left two huge black marks on my ClearBra. Luckily the ClearBra had been applied wrong by the dealership so I already had an appointment for a free replacement the week after. Really lucky timing for me.

Got salt all ver it and I'm sure more chips. Noticed I had 800 more mile to go until breaking her in. Oh and I ordered yellow tint for the fogs. Big fan of those on the WRB color.
