Mounted up the wheels on stock suspension (will have the coilovers on by this weekend).

Definitely makes the wheel gap more pronounced as the face of the rim sits out further. With the stock wheels tucked into the wheel wells it isn't as noticeable.

Even my wife, who is against me modifying the car, told me that I needed to lower it, lol, so for any of you who are in the same situation, get the wheels first; it'll convince other family members that the car needs to be lowered!

Did you really need the wife's approval or were you just being politically correct to keep the peace??

Your lucky she didn't say put the stockies back on and take back the new wheels. That's what would have happen to the majority of us.

Today I got over the rock chip on my hood and aquired a new one in my windshield right in front of where I look out. This one sucks because I keep staring at it. I hope its small enough that something can be done to smooth it out. It's not large but big enough to annoy me.

not really "approval", but we talk about it before I buy anything, since it's our money. she doesn't enjoy me dumping money into cars, but understands it's what I enjoy.

however, if I DIDN'T talk to her about ordering parts, and she came home to $2,000 coilovers and other crap at the front door, it would be pretty damn ugly.... lol. You'd probably find the coilovers on ebay for half the price, along with the car. Or I'd be living out of the car for a bit, haha.

Cleaned vomit that stretched from the passenger seat all the way across to the drivers side window. It managed to spew in nearly every crevasse possible it seems. Spent about 2 hours cleaning but the seatbelt still needs a little more work...

But the interior is really clean now!
