I just ordered an ACT stg 3 earlier today, and once i get it in, I'll be able to take people in/around charlotte for rides in her.

Even with the slipping clutch, she's an awesome ride. the power is just so damned smooth all the way up to red line

Here are a few pics of the old and new clutch in mikes car. It only took about 3 hours to install. Not hard at all.

So how you like the clutch/flywheel combo? paddle pressure? is it harsh engagement?

Engagement is a little harsh, took some getting used to. Works great now, though. Feels awesome

Very nice build. I can't wait for more power!

The ACT is a very good clutch. Good choice. They are easily underated and handle much more than advertised. If you think the peddle is a little firm, well that's why.

and first post updated with new improved dyno after having JR update the map.

Just how bad is your mileage? Mostly city driving? 265 is pretty good for this kit! Original pulley that comes with the kit?

Also, is Fast Shift doing all of your install work? I am looking at FI in the future...looking for a decent shop in NC that I don't have to worry about.

with city driving (which is what i'm doing 90% of now that i don't work for dominos anymore) i'm getting maybe 210 per tank. Also, the 265 is from a dyno dynamics, which reads a bit lower than other dynos do, and i am still using the 75mm pulley. but not for long. I actually did the install with a friend of mine here in my apartment complex. Shift Fast however did all the exhaust work, and i had my dyno tuning done there. (only did the exhaust work there because i don't have a lift at home. lol) Shift Fast is actually down in Rock Hill, but not a bad drive. bout 20 minutes south of where i live.

I was kinda weary of the Innovative SC kit till I saw your thread...been aiming towards a FBM turbo kit. Hopefully I'll make it to a meet and get to see this thing moving. My old 3200 lb cobalt ss was making 240-260 at the wheels (my last modded car)...hard for me to imagine that kind of pull in a 2700 lb car.

I just got out of a evo x...missing the tug at your face acceleration that thing had stock. The trunk was unusable and the city mileage was ugly (all I did at the time) and highway wasn't that much better. I can get 340 out of my brz pretty easy on the highway doing 80ish...so I don't want to completely murder that, but I am willing to give it up for more poowwwwaaahhh
