What flops, the mirror glass or the housing?

I've noticed this as well, the mirror itself on the driver side is flopping when going over bumps or when my bass is turned up. the passenger side housing has play since day 1, Only notice the housing play when I wash my car while wiping down the mirror but it's not enough to warrant me going back to the dealership. The driver side on the other hand... that's starting to annoy me to the point that I'll take it in to get it replaced.

Wonder if this has something to do with the opening and closing of the doors since the drivers side door gets the most use

@choi0706 ......... well, no my mirrors are both tight.

However, if they were lose, I would attempt to tighten them up.

This guide may help:

OK, if the "base of the housing to the car" that is lose, tightning those 3 bolts shown in the reference in the post up above might do the trick......
