Ok, so I've been busy the last few weeks. A stack of new stuff for the car.

1) RaceCompEngineering T2s
2) Raceseng CASCAM and Shock Tops
3) Whiteline trailing arm bushings and bump steer correction kit
4) Innovate Motorsports Intercooler
5) Painless wiring harness to provide dedicated circuits for the Hellas and the IC water pump.
6) Grillcraft grill
7) Another set of Enkei RPF1s, this time in 17x9ET45 (so hopefully I can get 275/40R17 R Comps on)
8) Used set of free 235/40R17 R1Rs with more than 50% left in them
9) Crowe 5 point harness (only using lap belt ATM) and some nice brackets that mount to the factory points.
10) CARB sticker for the Innovate kit

Enjoy. Lots of before, middle, and after shots of the work/parts.

Can you elaborate on this set up? I'm about to order my intercooler and am interested to understand how you ran it. Also any install notes or things to look out for? Thanks!

I bought the Painless http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRF-70207 .

The water pump comes with a PnP harness to tap its power from one of the injectors. I wanted to give it a dedicated circuit. Also, I initially had the Hellas wired to the factory harness, but someone pointed out that they weren't as loud as the should be so I am going to use the factory output to control a relay and will use one of the circuits from the Painless harness to provide the power to the Hellas.

How do the tarmac 2 compare to the yellows in terms of both ride and handling?

Can't say yet. Car is still on jackstands in the garage waiting for some more parts. Will comment more once I get it back together and running.

You can also purchase this harness for the hella horn kit:
http://www.subimods.com/subimods-hel...rness-kit.html

Used that when I had my STi. Still on the fence about picking up supertones, but yes, they need to be ran on their own relay to utilize their loudness.

You don't even really need to buy a harness, you just need the relay. one is power, one is ground, then the other two go to the horns. Super simple if you have the wiring.

I'm still on the fence on what to do with the water pump, if I want to just run it as is. (the harness tapping off the injector)

Yeah, I could have done that but I wanted to have a clean wiring setup and allow for any future upgrades.
