I'm in a similar situation. I've got an 04 Overland Edition WJ (I added 3" lift, 32" rubicon rims/tires) and refuse to give it up. I'm going to have to get an frs/brz as a fun nice-weather vehicle and keep the Jeep as the work horse.

Welcome to the forums!

Congrats on getting an FR-S over a Camry lol. I think that's the biggest win in your post!

That's what I did. The Xterra is in semi-retirement, reserved for hauling stuff and trips to the mountains or camping.

I had the exact jeep in black. I loved it, but traded it in on my 2011 JGC. I'll always own a Jeep. In my opinion, there isn't a well rounded competitor for the GC *for me*. The tahoes and 4runners are too big, the explorers feel cheap.. I could go on. I reeeeeeeeeeeeally miss my 04 Wrangler RME. If I could still get a 4.0 and Dana 44s, I'd probably give up the FRS and go with another 2 door wrangler. It's a different style vehicle than what you're used to, but you'll get used to it! I enjoy my FR-S but when I drive my jeep for a few days, I really don't care for it initially haha.

P.S. No offense to anyone that drives the listed vehicles.

Congrats. Now don't get tempted to put a lift kit, 35's and lockers on the FRS.

My dad has been a life long jeep junky and logged plenty of time off-road, maybe I should try talking him into a 'harmless' test drive in an fr-s as well
