Biggest changes that I like? Forced Induction. If you strictly want to stick to your chassis/suspension/brake mods, then high end coilovers. You literally get what you pay for.
I will look into (SPL - pretty) arms. I will first have to figure out what I can expect from trailing arms! With higher-end coilovers, what price point are we talking about generally? I would go as far up as Ohlins (so around 3-4k) but I am not convinced - i.e. nobody seems to be raving about them.

I want improved steering feel and even faster turn in with 225 section or narrower RS3s or similar which is why I was thinking about reducing unsprung (sort of ) weight with lighter front lower arms.

Based on requirements of increased steering feel and turn in..
Increased front camber, via camber bolts or coilovers
Increased front castor, via offset bushing, flca or coilovers,
Try different (increase) front toe out (via alignment)

I am sitting on 2.4 degree camber up front with 0.1 toe out - was on 0.25 degree before and there was reduced steering feel. the car was also a little too vague on the straights even at moderate speeds.

It's not going to be easy to achieve my goals. maybe i do need wider tires.

Already have 2 and 3.
I know I can never have enough of 1 and 4 but I just don't have the time to go to the track all that often. It's just too far where I am. (excuses, excuses)

Turn-in-concepts steering rack bushings will improve feel.

RS3's will always lack feel, compared to AD08R, RE11A, etc.

Only way you can get faster turn-in is to get higher spring rates and matched damping for faster weight transitions.

Can you elaborate on the bushings comment? I'm just curious. I only know from "Internet knowledge", less play and doesn't wear out like oem rubber.

I have the TIC bushings too - maybe it's time to do a sig.
Is it the softer sidewalls on the RS3s or some other factor?

I think what he's referring to is that bushings will never bring about a 'night and day' difference?

You are right about less play and longer wear life, but it comes with excessive NVH for DD.

For DD, OEM bushing will last a long time and keep ride quality and NVH in comfort zone and upgraded bushing will not add any benefit with DD

If you are hardcore racing or tracking then yes, all bushings will need to be upgraded.

Hope this help.

The TIC steering rack bushings did not increase NVH in my opinion. The subframe inserts for the rear however added some.
