I've put K&N filters on every car I've ever owned.
Only once did I notice a change in sound.
That was on a Suzuki SV1000S. :-(

The oil will get on the MAF and the car will run incorrectly. That's why some Dealers will void the warranty.

If you clean them first they are okay. Use an air gun.

Never use air gun on filter... please...

If you read some threads, a good drop in panel filter will give about 5-6whp on these cars, a crappy intake might cost you hp. A good panel filter or intake with a tune will definitely be something you can feel.
