Thumb Drive

I have ~14Gb of music on a 16Gb thumb drive in folders by artist.

The headunit in my BRZ is only reading the first ~250 folders (~3500 songs). Is it limited to only reading a certain size/number of files/folders? Or am I missing something?

That's weird. I have a 64gb stick that's mostly full and everything shows up.

Yes, it says so in the manual that came with the car. It can only read the first 255 folders then the first 255 files in each folder.

D'oh!
I scanned through the manual but obviously missed that. Thanks.

It took some time for me but what I did was have each folder have 255 songs in each and made it randomize songs in every folder (hold down RAND in frs)
