Has anyone weighed these 17x9et35 wheels with 225/45, 235/45 and/or 245/40 tires mounted?? ...I am really curious much they weigh compared to the stock 41.4lbs oem wheel/tire combo.

I don't remember the exact number but these wheels with 245/40 tires mounted weigh 1-2 lbs less than OEM, so the other two would weigh a bit less than that. With 255/40 they weigh 42.4 lbs.

So, I imagine a 225 and 235 width would probably land between 37lbs and 40lbs per corner.

Some tire manufacture websites also include weight. Just take what you find and add 16.4lbs to that and you should have a pretty accurate number.

Thanks. Did some calculations of my 2 most inticing wheels I'm interested in so far + PSS's:

OEM Stock = 41.4lbs

RPF1 = 16.4lbs
PSS + RPF1:
225/45 = 22.8lb = 39.2lb (-2.2lb weight reduction)
245/40 = 23.1lb = 39.5lb (-1.6lb)

57DR = 20.2lbs
PSS + 57DR:
225/45 = 22.8lb = 43lb (+1.6lb weight gain)
245/40 = 23.1lb = 43.3lb (+1.9lb)

I really love the look of the 57DR much more than the RPF1's (and they're affordable as well)...but dang, 2lbs heavier per wheel doesn't sound that nice.

@whataboutbob

How much camber would you need to ensure the whole wheel was under the guard in the front?

& if you did add that much camber how much room is left on the tire and the strut?

I was running -2.75 deg neg. There was about 1/4 in clearance between the tire/wheel and the lower spring perch. I've had NO contact issues even when autoxing. This was with the Whiteline camber bolts, COMCs, and RCE Yellows.
