WTF

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54964

No one told me about this. Ive gone through multiple sets of tires and I am still under the warranty period of my OEM tires... which are down to state minimal. (and fairly even tread wear). I wore mine down ~7-9k miles...
@Ninjin, i thought you were there to support me! why didnt you tell me?! LOL

Special thanks to @thesleeper, just got home today and I found a stack of those spotted cards in the mail!

I'll be bringing them with me to the Tucson meetup this week.

Holy crap. I had no idea they had a policy allowing the pro-rated replacement to apply to different (and better) models of tires. Plus I didn't realize they would warranty OE tires at all, I though it was retail sales only.

I'm mad now that I paid full price for my PSSs.

Of course, you may also have issues getting a warranty replacement of 215 stock tires with 265 Pilot Super Sports. Unless Cruz can do it.

Everyone else who is going to run stock size should get their tires replaced ASAP with Pilot Super Sports. Do it now!

I thoroughly enjoy my cars I haven't had a set of tires last over 10k in a good 5 years or so. The only set to last that long was my s2000 oem tires. As I was in comfortable for the first bit with over steer. Those lasted I want to say 12k miles. And no I don't do burn ours, donuts, etc typically. Just spirited driving

I don't see how they can warranty the tires for wear. Selling a new car from the dealership, read your owners guide. They come with a 1 yr warranty for defects only. Not wear. Unless sears has something else going on with the tire manufacturers.
