Edit: Never mind, I guess they worked it out. Came back with a new name and site (http://www.arc-brazing.co.jp/index.html), and looks like they are on board with the 86 platform.
if I not mistaken its only the US arc went out like HKS

Heard the entire division went under and resurfaced a little while ago. They've also got a ridiculously elaborate (and expensive like anything ARC) oil cooler and oil catch tank for the 86 platform.

The auto shop I used to work for awhile back in the 90's-00's carried ARC through Mackin. Definitely top quality stuff but you're mainly paying for the name. Just like in fashion, Louis Vuitton for instance, definitely great quality stuff but you're paying for the brand name and somewhat faux exclusivity. ARC puts R&D into their product but like C-West, they like to cookie cutter their products.

The induction boxes do tend to experience heat soak more than the ABS plastic and silicone intakes. They also are more of a bitch to clean and keep fingerprint and scratch free.

Do they at least put some sort of bell mouth inside the box to smooth the airflow?

If it's anything like previous ARC stuff I've seen it will do.
