Here it is people The ARC Super Induction Box and ARC Titan shift knob. I Will post more pictures and updates as soon its installed with the intake suction pipe. The Shift knob is amazing and is the best one ive seen so far plus its extremely light. Such lovely pieces of art, here are the pics, enjoy!

looks nice, but i have to ask, aren't aftermarket shift knobs usually heavier than stock? i would imagine a lighter knob would make the shifting feel rougher than stock. i know installing a 500g flossy made a world of difference in terms of smoothness for me.
it is pretty though! |

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that ARC box run you? You going to dyno it for a before/after to see if the cost was worth it?
|
I've been trying to find a lighter shift knob than the stock... the M3 has one of the lightest knobs I've ever used and it's amazing... What's the material of the shift knob... I don't want something that'll burn my hand under this tropical sun...

Just word of caution those arc box soak heat pretty bad... i had to wrap mine with the gold reflector... but its all good after that

600 dollars for a heat soaking metal intake box that will probably not get any gains better than a drop in filter. If it even gets half of what a drop in gets I would be surprised. This isnt any different from any other ARK induction box. They are just for show and have very little use when it comes to power gains other than soaking up engine heat. |

No intake on these forums have performed better than a drop in filter. Point I was trying to get across is that you paid a lot of money basically for a show car intake. The intakes that do perform better either just barely get it done or they are too expensive to be bought n used.
Dyno with hood closed I am betting it performs no better than every other intake for our cars and if anything I wouldn't be surprised if it performed like an airraid intake because of its design and filter being exposed in the engine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Long story short, it's made to improve engine response and they locate it so that it prevents negative pressure between the manifold & intake. You sure won't see bad effects from installing this part. |
Shout out to max@86worx for providing me these items with great price. most shops i called told me a 2 months wait. I got it within 1 week at most keep up the good work max!

Well, a dyno will tell the tale. Hopefully someone will dyno this setup and post the results. Kinda like the Zeek snorkel and elbow setup someone installed a while back.

Nice parts! Although, I thought ARC went out of business a few years back...
http://blog.nengun.com/news-arc-international-bankrupt Edit: Never mind, I guess they worked it out. Came back with a new name and site (http://www.arc-brazing.co.jp/index.html), and looks like they are on board with the 86 platform. |
