Sounds like something is unplugged to me but I havent looked at the wiring for this car to see how it worked. I figured the unlock button would be the same wiring as the RF system but maybe it isn't. There is a thread somewhere with a PDF of the full wiring of the car, that might be of use.

Not really, the button on the handle operates the lock internally but the keyless control box is inside the car. So there could be a wire or 2 that were severed in the door boot from the accident. would check the lock switch inside the car and verify it controls the drivers lock. If it does then this is a weird problem.

The thing is that the accident was minor damage but enough to cause the door and fender to be replaced. It worked before I took the car in to get fixed even with the damage. I'm primarily looking to figure it out so I don't have to go all the way back there come Monday.

Does it work from the lock switch inside the door. Not the external button on the door handle but the lock/unlock buttons.

I just went outside to double-check. The key fob buttons will unlock or lock the car like normal when pressed. The door handle on the outside when touched does not unlock the door like its supposed with keyless entry. The thumb "touch button or lines" on the outside handle also do not lock or unlock the door. When inside the car, the unlock and lock buttons next to the window up/down and side rear views does work either locking or unlocking the car.
When attempting the same thing on the passenger door it works as usual. Unlocked when outside handle is grabbed or touched and locked when using the thumb section on the outside handle.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using but the windows do roll up and down from the driver door right? It is feesable that the keyless actuator isnt plugged in inside the door.

I will have to open up the card door and make sure its all plugged in or something because the windows do go up or down and side rears adjust. Do you know if that keyless actuator is easy to spot?

There is also a little plug that's used for the 12v adapter inside your glove box. Perfect fit and best of all free
