Come enjoy one great benefit of Canada

There are more R32's in our junk yards than left in Japan I think. There are a lot here and they go for cheap. We have a 15 year rule so the 32, 33 are already available as is the 92 rx7 and 93 supra. The S15 and R34 will be available next year and I'm afraid the best picks will be gone by 2024, sorry neighbours. You could always buy one from us.

Just like the R32 the hype will fade as more show up on the roads and the resale drops.

R34 would make a cool winter beater, lol.

Yeah I've considered using an r32 for an ice racer, or a winter beater. Lol move to Canada

If the [insert any affordable sports car] was not available where you live, it becomes more desirable. It doesn't make it any better than what you have readily available (to a degree). We have plenty of platforms to choose from and if you're min/maxing street cars then you're doing it wrong. In that case, you would get one anyways as a dedicated track car.

This thread is for wannabe's and fanboi's.

Honestly I think Gran Turismo built the hype for that car far more than The Fast and the Furious series. The GT games really were my first exposure to that beast.
How much it cost to buy the car or drive it over the border? I'm sure it's similar to what they sell for most places. Like 15-30k depending on how nice his is

Not necessarily. There are a handful of cars out there that aren't available in the US that would just go on my list to compare against other vehicles, were they available here. For me it's not about having something rare or exclusive, but something that I like. Sure there are alternatives available, but that doesn't mean there aren't occasionally other cars available to ROW that make me go "damn, wish we had those here."

But, if you're craving 4WD RB power, the R32 will be legal to import in a few months time, if not within this month.
SO TRUE, Take your butt to Canada and pick up and R32 legally and bring it to the states under historic rule.

LOL. What a stupid opinion. JDM MR2's are very popular in Canada, we had the MR2 turbo alright, but it's not the fact that they weren't available here, they're just as cheap, have insanely low mileage and are in top condition. I've been near alot of JDM imports. Same thing with the MK4 Supra and some fairlady. So no, there is lot's of good reason to go JDM without being a fanboi. Getting a JDM cars is often cheaper than it's USDM twin also if done right (not to mention how cheap un-molested japanese sports cars are so rare nowadays). So..you're hating for the wrong reasons.

What's funny is this petition comes now? There have been so many before it and they have never gone through. There are a lot of federalized skylines on US soil already though, so I would say to just buy one of those.
