Oil coolers that will fit with the TRD intake?
Anyone have first hand knowledge of which oil cooler fits with the TRD intake?
I really like the Perrin setup but it doesn't look like it has enough clearance. Another option would be to ask Perrin to make the length of the hoses longer and use a banjo bolt and then an angeled fitting for at least the left side fitting. |

what portion of the intake is having clearance issues? @robispec Cooling Solution should fit with that intake.

![]() Might be a tight squeeze. Looks like the issue is the fittings on the sandwitch plate which to my knowledge all oil coolers use. |

I know the Cusco oil cooler might have a sandwich plate that works better, but I don't like the fact it's expensive and it doesn't turn on till 260F |

We have a new sandwich plate with the fittings center and vertical not horizontal.

I think we (TRD intake guys) can get away with using banjo fittings like in the Mishimoto oil cooler kit. I was thinking on getting it, but I'm wanting to put my funds elsewhere for now. I took another pic of the clearance, between oil filter and intake box, while I was installing my P&L header.

Hey guys, thought I would chime in here to help answer any questions. Our kit does use banjo fittings like JimmyMac said, which would allow our kit to fit with this intake.
Let me know if you have any questions about this kit. You can find more info on the product page here - http://www.mishimoto.com/subaru-brz-...er-kit-13.html ![]()

I ended up preordering a Perrin oil cooler. If it doesn't fit then I might try a banjo bolt, but most likely I would just end up selling the TRD intake. I'll update once I get it.

Having just built my own cooler kit following the template outlined by Perrin I'd think your ok as far as clearance as I have the stock air box and the TRD box looks smaller. If you run into fitment issues pm me as I have some tricks that can help. Also check out F1point4's oil cooler DIY thread for additional tips.
