Seeing it up close now what did you think of the wheel gaps with the 17's?

Thanks for the shot of your 6'1" friend that's what I needed to know. How comfortable will the leg room in the drivers seat be. I think you answered that with that photo.

I felt it could use a drop, but it wasn't that bad. It had a great stance how it was.

Hey Guff, was the little garnish on the side there always body colored? I could have sworn it was chrome trimmed in some cars.

Fuck I just missed it. I'm so mad I had work...the guy working didn't even know it was gone. It's on its way to Houston now.

Chrome trim might be an option. But we aren't totally sure

Yeah man, it sucks because one of my friends was on his way over there. He was almost to Preston when I called him and said it was gone...

AWW YEAAH Guff! Awesome pics. Looks pretty awesome, and I like a lot. Solidifies my liking for the BRZ even more. It lookd low, and that's what I liked. Stock height as well, so when dropped.....

Thanks man! And I love the height too! Getting into the drivers seat was easy and it was really damn comfortable!

Thanks for the pictures Guff! Bummer on the orange peel, but It could indeed be pre-production paint quality. Thanks for double checking the iPhone fiment too!

One question; I see the window switches say "Auto". Are they auto down & up?

Should be auto up and down. The new '12 Impreza has auto up/down for driver side.

Thanks for pics. Seems like the window to see it was really short. Hope my schedule is flexible when a BRZ drops by my dealership.

That is a relaxed looking driving position. Like his arms would have to be totally straight to 10 and 2 it and shifting to 1st/3rd/5th would probably require leaning forward. Or is that just the perspective?

Awesome pics and narrative, Guff!

I don't think the paint process had been finalized when they sprayed this car. QA inspectors are trained to immediately halt the assembly line once they see orange peel like that (usually the spray guns just need recalibration). QA only permits orange peel down by the rocker panels because there is anti-chip material between the metal and paint. These BRZs were probably just pilot run while assembly line processes were still being developed.
