You are telling me that you ordered a car without a contract or deposit? In my 25+ yrs of car ownlership, I have never been able to order a car without a deposit or contract. Not in Oregon, Texas, Idaho, New York, Italy or Puerto Rico.

Has anyone else had this good of an experience? I mean, I had to put $500 down over the phone to reserve my car for 24hrs before I could get to the dealer and with an already approved loan from my credit union.

I'd like to believe there is going to be a car released with the options described in the original post as I'd like to purchase one.

On the other hand, there hasn't been a single shred of legitimate evidence that the car exists.

2216 on top of the 25k (6mt) 26,500(6AT). With the pricing that Clint at Heuberger can provide on a BRZ, you'd probably get a better deal on a BRZ from him since Scions are no haggle pure pricing.

I'll say this, even with highend luxury vehicles, there is no way in hell someone can get allocated a model WITHOUTany form of DEPOSIT!! so thats why i hae to call BS on this whole no deposit or whatever crap. like i said previously, if you cant post proof of either your deposit or a letter from toyota saying you ARE getting the monogram then i would suggest you do us a favor and get lost.

Yes, me, but as I've posted before I'm a registered fleet buyer (you can, too, the how-to explained in an earlier post) and have ordered Toyota, Lexus and Scion cars, trucks and SUV's to spec over the past 20+ years with nothing more than a phone call. My limited edition 10 Series was no exception. Even if I have to cancel an order, the regional office simply flips the vehicle from fleet to retail status and wholesales it to dealers on the next allocation.

OTOH, I imagine any TMS associate or close relative as defined in the HR benefits guide could do the same.

I'm uncertain. We see Monogram is a separate model but no MSRP shown. Unlisted options are an addition to the model price that could well be above base price when Monogram package options are included. Does anyone have Monogram base price with no options? Otherwise, if it does come in @ $27,200+ for the M/T, I'll be more than a little PO'd but happy (with clenched teeth) for Monogram owners.
