Here is some useful info
Ignition Correction Coarse is the output of the Ignition Advance Map (multiplier by AM so in this case the AM is 1) Ignition Correction Fine is the amount of Learned Ignition Retard, this is added to the Ignition Correction Coarse and the result is shown as ‘Knock Correction Learned Value’ Knock Correction only seems to show real hard knock events. The Fine Learning will show learning stored from previous knock events but currently EcuTek doesn't have access to that parameter.

i was wondering where the button to pull the flkc table was... that explains it.
so the fine learning is showing you the currently applied flkc value, basically? |

Merry Christmas all!
A quick question for you.... PI/DI ratio, I've now seen 3 setups (including stock) all with different ratios. Is there any benefits or downsides to having both run all the time? What are peoples ideas for a good PI/DI table? I know on larger boost its needed to fulfill the fueling requirements, but how about on a NA or lower boosted applications?

one thing i noticed when testing running 100% port or 100% direct is that running direct injection results in noticeably lower egts. like a lot. |

Another useful custom map for FI is for per gear boost control. The boost will tend to overshoot a bit in the higher gears when the engine sees more load.
You can use custom maps to build a wastegate duty compensation map to lower the duty cycles in the higher gears (rpm x gear) to keep boost in check if you see over boosting in say 5th and 6th gear and your normal duty cycle tables are not dealing with it quick enough. You could also create a compensation table to adjust boost targets as well. You just need to keep in mind that the custom maps process in alphabetical order, so placement is important! - Bob Last edited by Circuit Motorsports; 12-27-2013 at 07:07 PM. |

the factory limiter is already a fuel cut that why its reacts the way it does. The car does shoot flames depending on the fuel type and target fueling. Its allot less likely to do that on pump 91.

Does anyone know where you can get something to view logs in a format like this:
(shamelessly stolen from @brn12345 ) I figured it would be useful for longer logs, I'm used to using the ECUtek log viewer but I like the idea of having details for load vs RPM on the different variables.

I'm not sure if that will work or not, I'll try later. I agree brzedit's logger functionality is better than that of ecutek, however I usually use ruby rake tasks to work with the information so the interface don't mean so much to me.
