It was very likely not placed on the front page by anyone. This site, like many social sites are a type of content management system (CMS) that is fully automated. The logic for those front page postings is quantitative rather than qualitative. What you see on the front page is simply the most active posts in the CMS.

Two separate topics are in this thread. Well, three counting digital forensics.

The first, about the yellow special edition, is probably substantially true with a few major omissions like model name, content and production dates. It's the only topic featured on the home page.

The second, Monogram, was the rope the OP used to hang himself with. It's not part of the first topic.

So it's likely that the site owners are for the most part accurate with the front page teaser that had nothing to do with Monogram.

IMO it appears that the Administrator and Moderators knew about the yellow car special edition some time ago, had the lead in the can and were waiting for someone else to leak to protect their sources.

Unless you test them yourself and have pictures to show us. I highly doubt that they are real.
