So he actually has a 2014 FR-S Monogram series?

No. The picture shows a model number for a regular auto base 2014.

No. Based on Scion history in model naming and package management, Monogram series would either be an add-on package and listed on the right as such. Or as a completely different model like the tC Release Series X, which model codes would end on an 8 or 9. Neither is present in that window sticker. That's just a stock FR-S Automatic model code 2014/6252.

Yep, the iQ window sticker he posted trying to pass off as an FR-S sticker shows the Monogram Series as a package and gives the package code for the specific vehicle. As Rio's pointed out, Scion sticks to their patterns pretty predictably.

To sum up… there is nothing to see here in this thread.

How is spending MORE money on the same car with "new" factory non-performance features not a joke?

I'll keep waiting, saving my money, and see if they do decide on upgrading to a 2.5L motor.

Attachment 61381

That is the model number in that shadow you see there. Scion uses the model code 6252 for the Automatic 2014 FR-S (which can be noted in the upper right corner of the photo). And THAT is the model number shown in your photo. The most important number to pay attention to is the last one "2". All release series model codes end in 8 for automatic and 9 for manual. Even the FR-S 10 series which is considered a release series 1.0 by Scion. The Monogram would be a Release Series 2.0.

You should have just stayed quiet and let this blow by, but no! You had to dig even deeper.
Nice going Rio ! Shut his lying ass up! Hahaha.. Can't believe a sales droid would lie about this and make a public ass out of himself !!
Kudos to the folks on here who called him out and showed him up.
This thread has been very entertaining..

Please don't let this guy represent what most Salesman are like. I have been keeping quiet to see how this unravels, and I can say that this guy's information is not 100% accurate and his attitude is lacking for someone in a Customer Service oriented business. The Monogram Series is on its way. The model numbers are 6254 for an automatic and 6255 for a Six Speed. It will be equipped with most of the options that were on the 10 series and a few more things. They are listed on Southeast Toyota's inventory system but not allocated as of yet. I work for a very LARGE Toyota and Scion dealership in Florida and I was an auto enthusiast before I became a Sales Person. I take my job and my knowledge very serious. This guy has done nothing but further a stereotype that all Sales People lie and that is not the case. If you have any specific questions about upcoming or current models, just PM me and I will do my very best to answer them accurately for you.
