If the prices are similar I may choose the wrb brz. But if I'm going to have to pay a few k more for some bells and whistles I'll stick with the FR-S.

Not having a lid on that between-seats storage area really looks cheap - I mean what would it have cost them, $3? They could have embedded the cupholders into the lid itself.

I'll try to be a glass half full guy here. At least with no cover it is one less thing to break or come loose.

Those are the best interior shots I've seen of both cars, thanks for posting.

By the way, I hope the passenger seat "accessory" in the FR-S is optional. Otherwise I suspect my wife will never let me leave the lot with the car. (and the inability to not post that proves she's right, I'm never going to grow up)

hopefully you order them from scion/toyota USA as the "JDM" covers will be reversed... lol

on the JDM BRZ site they have the scion/toyota version of the dash as an option. hopefully it will be the same way here for you guys here, then the change will be very easy.

I couldn't agree more. I was FR-S bound until I saw a BRZ in person. The front end of the BRZ looks so much better in person and fits the car design better, for me. Looks very agressive in person!

BRZ for me now. Bye bye FR-S...

I agree. And is it just me, or does the "snout" of the FRS look shorter/tapers downward kinda like the MX5? BRZ looks more pointy/aggressive like the S2k, which I like I like I like.

No, it's not just you. Also the corner slots on the FRS front ends look like they came straight off of the 2012 canary front end, recycle. The FRS front end isn't bad but somehow it looks less sporty than even the JDM F86 version. Probably the ground effects kits on the F86 make it look sportier. IMO...

BRZ has a laughing grill.

FR-S has a yelling grill.

the headlights look just like eyes

that's how i see it

^Hah.
To me the BRZ has a wide open gaping mouth like it lets air free flow in with a hug-the-road look.
The FR-S has a scrunched up face w/ pouting lips like it's trying to suck air in.

As a result, the outer corners of the BRZ's headlights are recessed into its wider bumper whereas the outer corners FR-S's headlights protrude out of the scrunched up bumper making fitment look tacky.

I know this argument is days old. But I didn't have much time to read all the threads fully (especially in the FR-S forum) since coming back from vacation.

I realize that it gets old fast seeing all the same questions constantly asked, but to me what is really getting old is all the snide comments from people trying to make people feel bad for posting questions, even if they have been asked before 5, 10 or 20 times.

As is, it's still a pretty small community. I'd personally love to see it grow more than shrink because of asshattery.

I definitely one of the best things we can do is take a bit more thought into our thread titles. Some of them are pretty brutal and a lot of good information gets posted into threads with crappy titles. I know some of the best threads I love going to are guilty of this. Problem is unless people are willing to delve into all these threads and discover it for themselves they aren't going to know better.

Anyway, TLDR, blah blah, but in short... Be cool bros! :P

The forum

Well I am female and almost over 60! I love the sound of the car for the handling, looks and the fact it even has a backseat, not to mention the MPG. The orig pricing was to come out in the low 20's but now it seems to be going higher every time I turn around. Get here already!
