I like the looks of the FR-S better... But I love the WRB color.

I could care less about the interior. push start/heated seats blah ehh.. Not a fan of all the little gadgets and what not.

If the prices are similar I may choose the wrb brz. But if I'm going to have to pay a few k more for some bells and whistles I'll stick with the FR-S.

This. I doubt anyone read all of this

Please don't ever put HID's in halogen projectors. You'll be blinding oncoming traffic and creating a hazard.

My current car has HIDs and Navi, so I don't want to buy a brand new car and downgrade, so I'm probably gonna go with the BRZ now.

I had really hoped that we'd have gotten the Toyota version (meaning the JDM 86/Euro GT86) since I wanted all the nice interior amenities + HIDs and I strongly prefer the Toyota 86 headlights and bumper.

Now the harder decision is between SWP and DGM...

suspension doesn't make a difference because it is VERY likely that I'll get coilovers.
I love the Toyota lights too, w/ the LED daytime running lights. The scion's are the same shape at least. & have the blinkers below the lights which i like.

That's the main reason i like the Scion's lights more, the subaru's blinkers are inside the headlight assembly, i prefer them lower to the ground.

But depending on how the lights look lit up i might change my mind.

It's hard for me to get past that silver dash on the BRZ though.

The dash pieces would probably be the easiest to replace on the BRZ since the dash is exactly the same between the two cars. Just order up the black carbon fiber look dash pieces from toyota JDM or Scion.

that's my second fav color. i'm set on the white though.

I also like the suby logo much more than the scion one. stars in the sky > scion in a ninja star.

all this stuff is minor to me though. I'd be very happy w/ either one.

the only thing i couldn't get past is the silver dash on the suby. i know it seems weird, but it would be distracting to me.

I wonder how much it would cost to replace it w/ a the toyota one?

They look like they're interchangeable.

I replied to you on the BRZ side of the forum. They are indeed interchagable as shown in the BRZ catalog, it's just like a face place.

just take into account the sure rattling that will most likely take place after switching them. i dont care if they are the same or interchangeable once you remove something it rattles.

For me it's going to depend on what the Canadian FR-S comes with in terms of options and price and colour. If Aquamarine is an option on the FR-S and GBS isn't available on the BRZ then we'll have to see.

I really want HID's. Anything else isn't that big for me. I can do without push button start, keyless entry, leather seats, and if it's going to save me a bunch of money I can do an aftermarket nav unit.

I'm not sure if the base BRZ model in Canada will have HID's and if it doesn't and the price gap between the FR-S and the BRZ Limited is huge that will probably play the biggest role in my decision.

As someone who has never purchased a new vehicle I think that the BRZ has a little bit more draw. I'm definitely more partial to Subaru, I like the interior a lot more, and if I'm going to buy new I might as well try out all the fancy bells and whistles.

In the past I always bought cars based on practical reasons, performance, mileage, maintenance cost, ect. I think the Scion will win in all those categories and be cheaper right out of the gate.

This is my dilemma.

I am starting to think that the Scion will be cheaper than expected and the Subaru will also be cheaper than expected!
