this is correct!

I hate driving around Vegas with these blind spots.. I've tried properly adjusting the mirrors, the proper way, and I just can't.. I use them to back up and them facing the side and not down the side ruins that.. My e I just need more "drive time" but driving 20+ years and never having a real blind spot until now, it's hard to go to properly adjusted mirrors.. It feels very unnatural to not see behind you and looking off to the side

if this is helpful to you, then by all means do so,however if you keep adjusting your mirrors, and checking visually, eventually you WILL eliminate the blind spot...just sayin'

Properly adjusted mirrors and a shoulder check is the best.

wow! this guy! just can't? prior posters have explained how! you NEED to "trust" WHAT you see in your mirrors.IF you adjust them properly, then you WILL eliminate the blind spot(s)...just sayin'

Maybe I am not visualizing what you are saying, but, how does a rear blind spot affect you in a u-turn? It sounds like you have turned too far before committing to the completion of the u-turn. If my rear is facing the oncoming traffic, I am already well committed and my foot buried in the pedal (preferably with VSC Sport mode on to rotate the rear faster).

i check my mirror, then make sure i have plenty of room in front of me, then crank my head all the way over to the left to check the target lane, then i slowly merge while keeping an eye on my side driver mirror. Thank goodness i do things this way cause that last part saved my frs a week ago from a bad situation.

i will mostlikly get the little stick on peripheral mirrors that i also have on my camry. those help out a ton but they dont look too fantastic on the car

I've noticed with this car that even with the mirrors all the way out there is still a slight blind spot between rear view and side mirror. I'm guessing due to rear view mirror size and location of seat. It's quick and easy to adjust when parking.

The front of my car was about as far out as I could be without sticking out into their lane.

I couldn't see out the passenger side around where the quarter glass is. Now I don't pull up as far so I am able to see through the passenger window.

Sorry for the long bump but couldn't find any results..

Just a question for you guys with blindspots or shoulder checking.. What window do you look at for the driver side?

Is it okay to look at the end of the first window of the driver side for blind spots? (I look at the first window looking all the way back) I tried adjusting my mirrors all the way out, but I'm not confident with that.

+1 to this. These mirrors are outstanding. No blindspots on either side. By the time the car is out of the mirror it's already on my side.

Cool. So that eliminates the blind spot completely right, even with my mirror seeing just like 1% of my car.

To the people checking over their shoulder (Driver), is it okay to check blindspot from the first window instead of the triangle window or does that provide not enough vision?
