I hate the blind spots, I'm spoiled by sedans.
And getting our of this cars takes a lot more effort than getting out of a Camry.

Buckle the back belts
Quote:
Just buckle the seat belts. That puts tension on the belts and stops any noise at least for me. |

Cup holders. I didn't see it as much of a problem when I first got it, as I typically don't have a drink in the car while driving, but road trips are where they fall apart. I can either have the drink in the way of me shifting or way out of the way where I can't really even reach them.
If only Pilot sold their coffee in bottles. I'll have to look into this...

First complaint - I added physical switches, got a new phone that is a lot more reliable for bluetooth, installed a backup camera, and figured out how to turn off the display. Now that I can get rid of the brightness of the display while driving at night and can change radio stations without touching the buttons, I like it a lot better, and having the backup camera makes me appreciate the big display. For navigation, I still use Waze on my phone since it's a lot smarter and easier to use (my HU seems to have like no points of interest in it, and is very dumb in my part of PA, where lots of towns share post offices and thus an address will technically be part of one town, but have a mailing address with another town), but it's nice to be able to pull it up and take a quick glance at the map. Second complaint - There is a way to fix this without techstream, you just do a goofy process. Did that a week or two after getting the car, not an issue any more. Third complaint - Euro armrest helped it, although now my car is hesitant getting into first gear on the first shift of the day when it's cold out. However, I do have some new complaints. I don't like how tiny the glove compartment is, and how there aren't any openings in the door cards for storing maps. I like having paper maps in the car just in case I need them, and I can either sacrifice my glove compartment, or put them in the passenger seat back, or maybe the trunk. It's not as if there's no room for it, either. I've had the door cards off, there's nothing that prevented them from putting a simple slot along the bottom for storing maps like 95% of other cars have. Instead, they've just got the bottle holders, and further back from them them is just a chunk of styrofoam inside the door card, instead of a nice compartment for maps like this ![]() I also don't like the terrible design of the autodim and homelink mirror adapter. Mine has fallen off. I've currently got it reassembled with some loctite and it's holding for now, but I expect it to start rattling again soon. No excuse for an established automaker to do that poor of a job on a simple assembly that is common to every car in their lineup.

I don't think Toyota did justice to the car by not putting hid headlights. Props to Subaru for that! I also don't like the tires. Other than that I'm in love with my car. As fr as BRZ goes, I hate the front end.. no offense..
