the damn door speaker/plastic guard things. I try to be careful when I get out of the car, but its scuffed to shit now. The passenger side is fairly good so it must be partly my fault for not being flexible or something (I'm 5'10" 170lbs). When the car is lowered, its kinda scary to fully open the door on the street sometimes as well. If the door is not fully opened, scuff rate goes up to 100%.

Front bumper - I can't get it sit right, and one of the corners always pops out.

Front wind shield - Not sure if all windshields are made equal, but 1 year 6 months of ownership, seems like there are a lot of pitting/small imperfections already that is noticeable.

Easy fix, remove passenger's head

Note: I haven't started modifying things yet.

Throttle response. Both the engine revving and the massive delay in updating throttle position.
Traction control is way too hamfisted, to the point where I'm turning it off before I even put the car in gear.
Both the clutch and brake pedal are too high for my liking and the brake pedal is too soft. Clutch pedal has an obtuse bite point too.

Here's something I found out recently:
I hate that the stereo doesn't let me pair (bluetooth) with my phone while the car is in motion. I need to be fully stopped. I know this is a safety feature but since I drive on highways a lot, it's a bit of a pain to pull over just to press a couple of buttons.

Having owned this car about 1.5 yrs, I think my only issue with it is the sound of the engine.

I bought a 350z recently and for the most part, it makes me apprecate my FR-S more, but one thing I really love about the 350z is its engine note. Very melodical and pleasing to the ears.

In comparison, the FR-S engine sounds almost agricultural. I can understand why some people say it has a bit of Harley-Davidson in it.

The only thing I don't like is how noisy it is in the cabin. I wish there wasn't so much rattling and that it blocked out outside noise/road noise a little better.

MLV is your friend! I cut the interior noise down I'm betting by half easily just by getting some good matting from Cascade Audio, little bit of elbow grease and under 200 bones completely made things very nice noise wise. Other small rattles etc are all cureable, I don't have a single one just took some time to find em and address them is all.

Compared to most 4 bangers.. This one doesn't sound too bad. IMO.
Descent exhaust note too.. I sometimes think the thin body sheet metal and other tinny Parts buzz and ruin the engine note...
