![]() Let me try and clear this up for you guys... There are different types of people out there and they enjoy different types of games, especially when it comes to racing games. This current debate reminded me of the posters you always see at fast food restaurants. On the left, you see what S2KtoFT86 would like to believe is real driving and the "satisfaction" that his "driving sim" trumps over GT. On the right, is the actual thing, driving physics in its purest essence which is represented wholly in the GT series. It requires skill, dedication, and a real understanding of how to take a corner; it's not going to appeal to everyone of course, and it never will. GT is a cold and unforgiving racing game, if you want to drift in it you cant just mash buttons around a corner and watch your car slide around flawlessly, as if it was on invisible rails. I say, if some people like to feel good about their driving ability in a fake game, then let them. We will let the subjective comment of "good" rest in our opinions of S2K's credibility. |
