Had wanted to run my gtx28 full blown kit but my fx300 died hard. Not sure if ill get another fx300 or a ACT 6 puck. Hopefully I will see what this thing can do soon.

I have the ACT SB7-HDG6 rated @ 345 TQ. I'm putting down around 350 WTQ and haven't had any slipping issues yet.

If it goes I'll get the new ACT SB7-XTG6 rated @ 444 TQ.

Only difference between these 2 is the pressure plates.

Im really indecisive between the two, im fearing that the one rated @ 444tq might be too harsh ?

My clutch pedal is slightly stiffer than stock. The 444 TQ will be even stiffer.

The run was done strictly to see trap speed (as an indication of power made). The car trapped at 107mph. While it is not a race condition (our local 1/4 mile drag strip is AAA Speedway home of the NHRA Nationals) it is a valid test. Also, I have compared my own track day numbers (and those of several customers) to the dyno run numbers and they are very consistent. Although I admit to having my dynos staging tree timing down better than any tracks so I always get a better reaction time on my dyno, lol.

1/4 mile runs on the dyno are a great way to safely and legally perform test hits without having to spend big money for test and tune days at the track.

Beyond Slicks what would be best for on an off the track?

Just like everybody else with a Turbo Porsche I have Michelin Pilot Super Sports, which are pretty much the de facto tire for any high performance car. Hell even the Ferrari owner's ditch the P-Zeros these days for them.

If I had the money, I would daily drive either BFG rivals or the Dunlop Z2's. Both are summer tires. I'm not sure about all seasons.
