Yes, soon! We actually received the throttle body that a tuning shop sent us yesterday. I believe my machinist has began the process today so we can ship it back out the them as soon as possible.

Yes, that very well could be an option. We do use a local coating shop in our are that does all of our intake, exhaust manifolds, downpipes ect. I will get more info as we get closer to releasing it after testing.

Btw, I had a look at my stock TB earlier on, seems it's secured by rivets. How do you guys go about re-securing back the electrical plastic part with the alloy part, or do you use bolt with nyloc nuts?

Reason being, although I have my TODA, I'm looking towards getting that ceramic coated. Might make negligible difference in extra power, but for strictly staying N/A.. every little bit helps.

We will be using small nuts and bolts to secure the servo cover back on. The throttle plate will be re-installed with flat head screws instead of rivets, and the freeze plug will also be replaced.

Have you re-routed the coolant so it doesn't go through the TB anymore?

All you have to do is disconnect the two coolant hoses that go to the throttle body. The install a 90 barb fitting, do not recommend plastic for this, to connect the two hoses back together. I recommend getting fuel line style clamps for replacing the spring clamps. Then top off your cooling system as needed. The primary reason those hoses are there is to prevent throttle icing, not an issue in all areas but if there is a possible concern do to your climate I do not recommend you do this. At that point you will no longer have the throttle body warmer. Sorry to thread jack and hope this answers your question.

From my experience a 90 deg barb wasn't required. Just looped the longer hose back into the system. Might be different for US spec cars though. But yes. A good cheap effective mod as long as the area your in does NOT experience frost or snow
