Slightly off topic, but will the recent tsb on idle dip be accommodated in future ecutek updates?

If you want all the TSB's always use the most current roms when tuning. For older Roms we just copy/paste the changes in.

EcuTek will provide the lastest ROM or the tuner?

Got a question for EcuTek.

If we are like 4-5 EcuTek FR-S/BRZ owner and we want a RaceROM upgrade BUT our Master tuner are not the same, does it affect anything?

Roms are in the software for you. Wont matter as far as the RaceRom upgrade goes for the full software version You can purchase from either dealer you choose.

On Friday when EcuTek activates the new software ProECU Update will download all the STOCK Roms and RaceRom Patches to your EcuTek Folder.

The master tuner of your choice will be able to upgrade you.

Let me know if you interested

Awesome. I was regretting my ecutek licence until I came across this thread.

First thing I want to do is get rid of the shitty stock rev limiter setting that kills the power, it's a nightmare for drifting. I hope this is an easy fix.

Oh it's Friday in 31 minutes.

Using the new RaceROM Accelerator Trim throttle mapping (found in the FREE ProECU BRZ) it is possible to reduce engine torque output before the aggressive factory limiter kicks in. In addition by raising the stock rev limiter by 200 rpm you can retain the safety margin of the fuel cut rev limiter for extreme cases (like missing a gear). Enjoy your drifting!

yep.... also set the rising limit to whatever you want it to be and the trailing limit to 50rpm less. this will make the rev limiter feel much softer and not bang your head off the dashboard when you hit it.

So is race rom tied to an Ecu license or dongle? Or how does that work? Say for instance I buy one cable, and two standard Ecu licenses for say me and my girlfriends car. Now if I purchase the race rom upgrade to use on my car will I be able to use that on hers or require paying for an upgrade for hers as well?

Question

EcuTeK??
Oh Bummer your Software doesn't work with a Mac :thumb down: Are there any plans for it to be comparable with Mac OS?

Second question any plans to offer training for the Home Tuners?

Thanks for your time in responding to my Query
