Maybe not flavored, but candy yes.

Aren't you a physics teacher? I'm surprised you didn't put yourself on a Mobius strip.

PSH-12180FR Battery Test

I parked my car for the winter on November 25th, 17 days ago. The car has been parked in my garage. My garage is insulated and doesn't get below freezing unless it's zero Fahrenheit outside...which it hasn't been. But it has been anywhere between 10 and 40 for the last three weeks so the temperatures in my garage have been somewhere between the high 30's and 50 degrees. I was wondering how the battery would hold up for an extended period of non-use, such as while parked at an airport.

The good news is that the car cranked right up as if it had been started yesterday. That, coupled with some of the low temperature tests others have done with this battery, gives me a lot of confidence that the smaller battery is up to the job of starting the car.

IRONY UPDATE:

Today I went out to start my Chevy Silverado. The battery is only 2 years old. After sitting two days where the days were in the mid 20's and the nights were in the the low teens...no start. Dead battery.

Swapped out my controllers today. Took me about 7 minutes to do the swap. New controller looks fantastic and has the connections mounted on the battery side instead of the farside. Nice having the drag reduction back. Rob suggested I modify my foot switch to activate at 90% for a more natural progression into full boost mode. I will be modifying that tomorrow while I work on my exhaust leak.

That looks excellent. Very smooth with almost no overshoot. Does it still draw the same current or are power requirements reduced?

Hysteresis +/- 0.2 psi...adjustable setpoint 2 to 4 psi. It is a simple fast acting switch referenced by the DR line and plugs into the control/charger unit.

Power is reduced...though overall typically it intervenes for a short period of time.

Thanks!

I'm interested, but I like things to look stock.. i.e. No wires everywhere or weirdly aligned connections (tubing, etc.). If I wasn't in California, I would seriously be looking at the innovate kit. It looks so clean.

I have no idea what you're talking about. All of my wires are contained in looms. You can't even tell that the battery pack isn't stock. I can't think of a cleaner install.

I've had multiple people look at the car and think the esc was a regular supercharger. They never noticed the three batteries unless I brought it up , and I'm very proud on how my looms are run so that it's not messy and looks stock.
