You would need to contact the supplier of the Supercharger to discuss whether they will provide you with a pre-calibrated ROM.

This is all fine and dandy, but damn what about the other features, like saved mapping when the car is shut off, and the ability to save certain parameters in data logging so you don't have to click through them all every damn time you log?
Thank you for your general feature requests for ProECU. We will put them on the list for the Dev Team.

no problem, but these have been discussed repeatedly though. I know your announcement is great for all but I would have rather seen these little things taken care of for the average customer who won't be messing with maps.

This feature has been removed and replaced with different throttle mapping per map switch mode (Similar to SI Drive)

What does "pre-calibrated" mean exactly?

+1000000 for the current map being saved when the car is shut off and turned back on..

I mean why does it remember your map if you cycle the on switch twice before turning the car on, but not remember the map if you just turn it on???

i don't think it's very safe to say that the majority of people who purchase a tuning product aren't interested in tuning.

true, but with a lot of posts I read on this forum, most people should be staying away from editing their own maps (amongst other things lol).

You are in a league of very few. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the announcement, but there are far more people who don't know what they are doing than there are that do, or people who could care less and leave it to a tuner to do this kind of stuff for them.

Companies just cannot win. EVERYONE drilled Ecutek for being closed and not allowing end user customization. Now they announce it and here we are complaining at what they still don't offer. I prefer to see things half glass full and appreciate this announcement hugely.

I was looking into options to get a different type of tuning software for my car but this is the announcement I needed. I'm staying with ECUtek.

I understand where you are coming from. Those feature you ask about I would love to have too. But this DIY user tuning is leap and bounds bigger than the other stuff. I hope they do keep working and make them available later on.

that's because up until now they haven't been able to without ditching the tune they already paid for. this is excellent news if only for the reason that it'll encourage more people to experiment and learn, reducing dependency on a few select tuners to service everyone, and improve the whole situation from the top down. i love it.

it is too expensive though. if oft or brzedit get speed density it'd be less exciting, as that's really the only killer feature to justify the price. nonetheless fantastic news, and a huge step in the right direction. i commend ecutek for listening to the market (and common sense).
