I have to admit, it looks cool and I like it!

Is it legal?

I was under the impression that lights under the car like on Fast and Furious were illegal for on-road use.

Depends on the jurisdiction.

In Ontario Kanada, amber on the sides (the wheels project light to the sides -ground scatter also on sides) is legal. Any other color is not.

I'm gonna get amber side underglows connected to my turn signals !

Legality also depends on the cop as well sometimes.

Personally, as a popo in SC, I'm OK with under lights and such unless they're flashing.
Id warn against red or blue wether solid or flashing, but I'm OK with any other color as long as they're not flashing or causing glare/distraction.

In for the rolling shots. I'm all about neons and lights, when you can turn them off at will.

Here in VA it isn't legal. But that's why I have them wired through a switch. If I'm driving with them on and see a cop in the distance, I'll just switch them off. I'd never drive all the way to where I going with them on constantly just because of the probablity of getting pulled over, and it being a distraction for drivers around me.

Looks goooood!

Exactly how do the lights attach and to what ?

I've seen these type of lights a lot on motorcycles at shows. When done right they look pretty good, however I have seen many turn out.. ricey.

Hard to tell from the pictures what category I'd put yours in, but regardless if you like it that's all that matters.

Any way you could get some better low light pictures? Info on kit used? Are these just in the wheel well or is it one of those kits that uses a metal brush and disc with lights on the rim?
