It varies, with how low the Vette is they usually ignore it too but the last time I went through with the Mustang they checked under it.

However you should have seen when I went through with the MR2, they were so confused when the motor was not under the hood or in the trunk... I couldn't stop laughing.

Meh vortech up for sale if anyone wants it... going to send it in for a rebuild tomorrow. Apparently the main seal is leaking. Will gladly upgrade to the race model if someone wants it... (allows higher boost).

Random, but can anyone with those "You've been spotted" cards post a pic or link for us to print out?

I've run into (not literally) two unfamiliar new twins today in parking lots, and really wanted to drop some of those cards off.

New cars get an OBD plug in to smog. You cannot have any CEL's or you fail. They do not check for cats or open the hood at all. If you have a ridiculous exhaust (overly loud) they will inspect further (really depends on the person inspecting).
