We need to get a ATX86CLUB going! The only frs and brzs I see driving around my area are all being driven by middle aged ladies lol its kind of disappointing when you wave at them. Whats yours still out of commision for Turkish?

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, I think an ATX86Club would be pretty cool, I cruise around North Austin, just moved to the area.

It started as the rough idle tsb (I'll link the thread when I get home). However, mine must of had more going on though. After going through the entire flow chart they didn't fix the cel/sl. SoA had them use a "check everything plus the kitchen sink" flow chart the third time it was in. CEL came on two hours after I picked it up.... they told me the ecu was mistakenly thinking timing was off, so it would make adjustments that then caused the rough idle and cel with slip light would come on seconds later. The hard part for the dealer was that it was intermittent. The month they had the car the third time the cel came on three times.

I've been dealing with Round Rock Toyota in getting the chirping fuel pump fixed. They took pictures and sent them to Toyota Technical yesterday. I'll hear back probably next week about what they want to do next.

thought there we were permanent fixes for this due to it being caused by the ethanol from pump gas

I'm in to help get a local ATX86Club going.

I'm a past and current member of car clubs that meet monthly for dinner and discussion along with spirited Hill Country drives and destination drives.

I've already participated in one of the "Sisters" drives organized by a San Antonio forum member. Great fun to drive with other FRSs and BRZs and then share technical and social talk at stops.

Holidays and a rush job at work have me occupied at the moment, but open to help with organization after the New Year.

Agreed lets try and get something started after New Years I'm sure everyone is busy with something right now all the finals and the holidays. But I was thinking that if we were to get decals similar to the az86club but with atx insted that would look clean.

I appreciate you getting the ball rolling.
Though I don't "do" facebook [privacy issues], we can respond here. There are probably better non-facebook alternatives, but two of my car clubs use Yahoo groups to communicate.
