First Speeding Ticket, Oh JOY!

I'm a cop... I have never put on a ticket how I got the speed that I got (I very very very rarely write speeding tickets) but I have never had one just dropped.
When I lived in VA I had a police officer estimate my speed and I couldn't get it dropped.

For a DUI conviction you just need to explain why you think they were DUI. Here you can be charged for not blowing into the PBT. You can refuse field sobriety and the intox (secondary test). But refusing the intox will automatically suspend your license.
Most officers won't risk their job and money just to falsely arrest someone. If I pull someone over who runs up on the curb. Then they can't put a sentence together and their eyes are blood shot and glassy.. The smell of an alcoholic beverage about knocks me over when they speak yet the refuse everything... Trust me - they'll get convicted.
Granted in my county/city it seems all non aggravated first time DUIs get reduced and the driver gets a TON of fees and a blow and go. It's all just a money making thing now which pisses me off.
BUT they have a second trial with DMV. Which will most likely suspend their license.

aww shit we've been fooled! Everybody ruuun!!!

Lol a few cops i know have said they would pull people over with tint if the car looked shady as an excuse to search it if they got any reason too.

Oh I'd do the same but dark tint doesn't give you a reason to search without consent. I've actually written a tint ticket before but he had tint on his windshield and I couldn't see him at all... I just think that a horrible freakin idea and not to mention I don't like not being able to see a person when the are behind me...

I'm an easy going one though. I pretty much write fix it tickets and driving suspended tickets. I'm looking for more than just a ticket. I hate hate hate meth and thieves. But at the same time I still give everyone respect until they disrespect me. It seems to work out much better that way.
Although I have to admit I still really want to taze someone I had to go through it I want to at least use it one freakin time lol it's hard to not go hands on and grab the taser instead.

I worked thanksgiving day 6am-6pm then worked walmarts "Black Friday" afterwards till midnight.
It actually wasn't bad! Only two pissy women because they wouldn't let people shop for tree ornaments since the line to check out was winding through those areas (garden center). I pretty much stood there and entertained people lol
Had a few creepers... And a few people I just had to watch wondering if they had a mirror at home.
Ohh and like a 10 year old eom kid I really wanted to take a pic of but didn't want to get caught

Why do I find that extremely difficult to believe ?
