Need a built internal engine. But it is not as expensive in the long run as the boost

Personally, i would prefer having a stroked built engine in the car before boosting.

Probably gonna cost you south of 10g...depends on what you build it with. But if you ask me...it is worth it.

For now, the after market for stroker built engine is not proven neither strong yet. Give it another couple year

Got my winter tires on (Hankook i*cept eve 205/50R17 on stock rims–these are "winter performance" not "snow tires") and had a LOOTT of fun on the snow!

You wouldn't believe how fun it is to go from the stock tires and 3 50lbs sand bags and still not being able to get going or stop, to these tires, 1 50lb sand bag and accelerating faster than AWD cars and breaking WAAAYYY better than any other car on the road!!

Because of the superb balance and handling, the "squirming" is easily correctable and you don't have to let go of the gas: keep the gas steady, shift up a little bit early than on a dry road, and OPO LOCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

HECK YA!!!!!!!!!! <3

PS: and ya, all nannies off!

lolz Yeah, you're probably right. I live in Alaska, though, and have to make due with where I'm at. Having driven 10k miles to the Lower 48 and back, I've found these various techniques to be VERY useful no matter where you are. There's a reason I haven't been in a collision with anyone for over 10 years now. I keep a good mix of offensive and defensive driving. I don't take unnecessary left turns across several lanes of traffic. Etc. Etc. Various.

Once no one else is on the road, though, like when I drive around late at night during the summer, it is ON! I hit on-ramps at 65, letting the tires squeal and screech! I go a little sideways on every s-curve and roundabout I can find! There's a reason why I say, "Anchorage is my Autox."

One has to be very selective of when this is done, though. We still have moose and other wild animals that roam the city, so I have to keep a constant awareness. One of my biggest fears is hitting a moose, which is a very real fear and I've come close several times in the past 11 years.

I look a "mile" ahead, zipper-pattern with traffic, expect a collision from every side street, see myself as a motorcycle since my car is small, and sit with my back straight up for best view of the road. I've always tried applying "racer technique" to my daily driving since I don't trust most people on the road. This includes knowing when to hit the brakes and switch lanes when things feel like they're going to get hairy. I analyze each vehicle around me, anticipating the likelihood of them doing something uncontrolled (I don't trust large vans or Escalades). I don't hangout in the right lane unless I'm going that slow or turning immediately right. I'm almost nice about letting people through to help prevent accidents from someone forcing their way through. I've learned a lot in my time. hahaha

You're right, though, generally I wouldn't recommend it due to liability. I would feel TERRIBLE if I was irresponsible and caused a bad accident because of having everything off where it could have been prevented by keeping everything on. Since it's been raining on top of this ice and cooling down I have kept it on more often. With dry snow I keep it off, though.
As an all-weather motorcyclist I always drive the same way. I can confirm the BRZ is better in the snow than my F800ST too >.<

Put two more tires and wheels on you F800. You will see a marked improvement.

Put on the Eibach Pro-Kits and some Conti EWC winter tires. Pro-Kits are the perfect subtle drop amount (1") IMO, and while the stiffness can be felt in bumps, rebound is hardly different and the car feels much flatter on the corners. Great result.

I plan on taking my "skillz" to autox next year. My car got raced, but I was entirely too sick this year to give it a proper shot. Doing much better now, though! I can't wait to see what all this fuss is about dodging them there cones!

Yea, I posted about that a couple days ago. happens to me every night (work till 12am) I just use my fingernail to 'push/pry' the seal between the window and the door then unlatch the door (without opening it) a couple times to work it loose. Haven't had to reset the windows with that procedure...but yea Guam? too rainy they would have had to fix the squeaking windows issues if they tested it there.

Make sure they're not idiots. The fact the window lowers slightly on door open threw my place off and 6 months later the bottom has peeled up.
