Are you guys attending this Saturday (HOD) or Sunday (City Tech)? I'll be there on Sunday.

I'm debating if I should bring both sets of wheels+tires (stocks & RE11A's). My sick engineer mind wants to do a direct comparison between the two, but my lazy fat ass doesn't want to have to lug a second set of tires in the car and which I have to swap in-between sessions (would seem appropriate to swap more than once, to make up for changing temps over the day).

Caravan location sounds good to me. I've already begun losing sleep thinking about this upcoming day.
Yes, will definitely need layers, plus I've found the heater vents are placed nicely to blow right on your hands when they are at 9 & 3 (just don't turn lol). I guess I need to do my pad/rotor swap soon, its been hard to go down to the garage since its been so cold lately. Actually, I might as well do them Fri night since my body will refuse to sleep a wink anyway

You shouldn't wait last minute.. You won't have time to break in the pads and rotors.... It's a long flat freeway to the track. Lol

You're doing rotors and pads? What did you get to replace them with?

you can break em in at the back of the paddock/parking. Usually no one parks there, and you can break em in or warm up your car/tires

Just went home and installed my SRP accelerator pedal during my lunch break(thanks to @Doborder for the diy and @orthojoe for the recommendation, although I think I still may need a visit to the chiropractor lol). I kinda have some mixed feelings about it, I thought it was going to sit flush on the pedal but it has more curve than the stock, so it sticks out a little bit more. Also, I was hoping the rubber "dots" on the pedal would stick out like the stock, but again, the effectively thicker srp pedal doesn't allow that. On the plus side, VERY easy to heel-and-toe now!

I was mostly kidding... mostly (last track day at Laguna Seca, I put in the pads the night before, then did my bed-in at 3am along Doolittle/Ron Cowan, no traffic then drove straight to the meeting point for the caravan.

Pads I've had since last time (Raybestos), rotors are cheapo Centric Premiums from KNSBrakes. Had the same rotors on the wrx and were happy with them, plus they are a NASIOC vendor, so I was sure they would have the sizes. Measured my stock rotors before and after Laguna Seca and realized the pads were eating em up good, so I decided to have a separate set of rotors for track days, also, no need to re-bed-in when swapping back to stock pads.

Good suggestion, although I think HOD usually does their beginner clinics (fig 8/breaking exercises) at that area

Funny, I just installed the Cusco accelerator pedal for this upcoming Saturday. I too will need to see a chiropractor after that install, so maybe group buy?

It's always the smallest things that are the toughest..

"Oh this little accelerator pedal? It'll take about 10 mins to throw on"
... An hour later ...
"Damn these stupid accelerator pedals, why do I even need one? And why can't I get my body to contort to the positions necessary for this install!!"

I do love it for heel-toeing and look forward to using it this coming weekend.

Most recommend bedding them in on the track during your first 1-2 laps.

No worries, perhaps somewhere along Fairfield or Vacaville? If not, we'll just see ya there. In that case, it might just be me and you Chris @overlookedx and a buddy of mine in his bmw 3-series

Sounds good @BigFatFlip, I was thinking we should all meet at Fairfield at a drive thru Starbucks that's open at that time. I found it last time for coffee and would like to stop there again, so it would be a good meeting point. @sw20kosh

Also, I haven't received anything in the mail either. I want to see what the schedule is like so I can plan accordingly, hopefully it shows up soon.
