Does anyone know if there's a noise limit for autocross at NOLA? I wouldn't think there would be, considering its location. No one's ever said anything about it on bike track days. I'm pretty sure my car is going to be conisderably louder than my R6 though, and my R6 is pretty loud.

edit: From the Nola Rules and Regulations sheet: "Sound Limits. NMS retains the right to impose noise restrictions on participating cars, motorcycles and karts. While no specific noise restrictions are to be enforced without NMS’s written notice, NMS may at any time and at its sole discretion, choose to impose a noise control system. Such limits are likely to be similar to those operated by the Sports Car Club of America at their National race events. These require that vehicles comply with a sound pressure level of 103db “A” frequency weighted (dba) measured on a fast response setting at 50ft (=/- 2 feet) from the edge of the track pavement." Also a reminder for this saturday: ![]() Hope to have a decent turn out now that the weather is getting nicer. |

Hey guys and gals, Saturday December 7th, 2013 we will be holding a multi-city Cars & Coffee charity meet in conjunction with Toys for Tots. Please help those in need this Christmas by participating in this fantastic event and contributing toys and/or monetary donations on-site at the meet. Any and all donations will be welcome. Help a great cause and enjoy the view of some beautiful cars amongst the company of fellow enthusiasts like yourself! The plan is for Lafayette and New Orleans Cars & Coffee groups to meet in parallel to host the first set of Toys for Tots pickup sites. Then everyone is invited to enjoy a cruise to the Baton Rouge Cars & Coffee event for the final pickup drop site. Drive-time has been built into the schedule to ensure everyone has an opportunity for a relaxed and safe drive to the final stop in Baton Rouge.
Schedule is as follows: New Orleans Cars & Coffee Time: 7:00am - 9:00am Address: Chateau Cafe 139 Robert E Lee Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 Phone: (504) 286-1777 Contact: Michael Kelly Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/226356987391046/ Lafayette Cars & Coffee, hosted by High End Race Development Time: 7:00am - 9:00am Address: The Grand Theater 3141 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503 Phone: (337) 988-4200 Contact: Angie Lemoine Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cars-...21320984758444 Baton Rouge Cars & Coffee Time: 10:00am - 12:00Noon Address: CC's Coffee House 3930 Burbank Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 Phone: (225) 767-6203 Contact: Dave Marcus (Smoky Tyrz) Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/cars...feebatonrouge/ Hope to see some of y'all out there! |

just placed my order for the Tomei front pipe and FT86 Speed Factory exhaust hole cover. Not a bad way to use the 5% discount they have for Black Friday if I do say so myself.

Plan on checking my catback to front pipe connection tomorrow for a exhaust leak, but what else would you guys look for?
