Does anyone know if there's a noise limit for autocross at NOLA? I wouldn't think there would be, considering its location. No one's ever said anything about it on bike track days. I'm pretty sure my car is going to be conisderably louder than my R6 though, and my R6 is pretty loud.

I haven't heard anything about a noise limit at Nola, but I doubt it'll be any louder than the guy with the grabber blue 5.0 and no one complained/said anything to him.

edit: From the Nola Rules and Regulations sheet:

"Sound Limits. NMS retains the right to impose noise restrictions on participating cars, motorcycles and karts. While no specific noise restrictions are to be enforced without NMS’s written notice, NMS may at any time and at its sole discretion, choose to impose a noise control system. Such limits are likely to be similar to those operated by the Sports Car Club of America at their National race events. These require that vehicles comply with a sound pressure level of 103db “A” frequency weighted (dba) measured on a fast response setting at 50ft (=/- 2 feet) from the edge of the track pavement."

Also a reminder for this saturday:

Hope to have a decent turn out now that the weather is getting nicer.

Anyone else going to the Autocross on the 17th? I am considering it but am not 100% sure on it.

Hey guys and gals, Saturday December 7th, 2013 we will be holding a multi-city Cars & Coffee charity meet in conjunction with Toys for Tots. I should probably be at the NOLA one and might cruise out to Baton Rouge. Day before my detail so might as well get my moneys worth in terms of cleaning haha.

just placed my order for the Tomei front pipe and FT86 Speed Factory exhaust hole cover. Not a bad way to use the 5% discount they have for Black Friday if I do say so myself.

Older post but I'm thinking of getting a clear bra soon, anyone have pictures of the clear bra done by this shop? I'm not familiar with the film they use and am hesitant because they advertise a 10 year warranty whereas 3m is usually 5
