Was that the in-cabin sound with the sound tube deleted? Were there any other exhaust mods on the car?
Also, (I'm assuming) it had an aftermarket air filter and flashed to v1.34 Stage 2 (91/93)?

I think you just need to practice more with manual shifting. He must be a skilled driver I'm Not denying it but from the video I don't see anything special. He is showing a product on a MT car, that's it. Probably it's because I'm from Europe and here we almost never buy AT car, MT is the standard and we are well used to it

Anyone else actually kind of disappointed in this? Performance, yes, but sound... a little underwhelming ?

You're not going to get much sound with a stock muffler so no. . not disappointed. It is as expected. If you want more sound, you'll want to get a muffler or cat-back as well. The header alone will just give you the characteristic boxer rumble.

Doesn't sound very unequal on that setup. Should ditch that restrictive op/FP and do another drive. Pipe size, resonators, muffler reduce rasp. You can trade a cat for a Helmholtz and that works but I can't stand the smell.

I like it! Personally don't dig the UEL sound, this one is pretty mild. Can we have an outside vid?

Doesn't sound UEL at all lol
Only part that maybe was a little burbley was when you drove away. I'm guessing it would be more pronounced with a muffler delete? |

I think it sounds really good. I'm already pleased with the sound of the stock exhaust myself, and I'm not a fan of loud exhausts.
I haven't seen any dynos for this yet, but if this thing provides similar power to the other quality headers on the market, I'll probably pick this up. I could never justify paying $1,000 for a header when I eventually plan on going turbocharged in a few years, but... for $515, I could swallow the loss of investment when it comes time to getting a turbo header. One more question (in addition to my earlier unanswered questions)... this thing is catless, correct?

Too bad it's on e85 though, as the only e85 station remotely near me is about 30 minutes away. If this wasn't my only car, I'd have no problems going with e85... but since this is my daily driver, I'm skeptical with swapping to a fuel that I have limited access to.
