Are you guys running a short shifter? If so, what kind? The driver is pretty skilled at driving a manual in my opinion or maybe I just suck

Stock shifter AFAIK. That's shiv@vishnu driving/talking. He's one of the best driver's I've ever met. So needless to say, he's pretty good with a 6MT. You should see some of his drifting/road-racing videos. They are pretty epic!

I've always been a fan of Magnaflow mufflers. Not very load usually. Especially when there is two of them in a system. So I think it would sound quite nice with the OFH. Just as long as you don't go full cat-less. If you remove the stock secondary cat, there is nothing that will keep your car from sounding too loud IMHO.
