sway bars? BEST choice?

Hello fellow forum debaters, I was in the market for some sway bars and wanted some advice. What would be the best swaybar combo to buy for the FR-S? I want the best handling improvement out of this modd.

Sway bar barely helps. Save some money & buy other parts, like brake upgrade, suspension upgrade, tires, driving skills

Edit:
Before members go berserk over my post. What I meant was, to see full potential of sway bars, you need to know what's you're expecting, making, ideas, driving skills & goal of your 86. Without those, it's waste of money & barely helps

If that is the case, would the eibach pro or sportline springs (w/ stock struts) improve handling more so then? I know you can get coil overs instead, but in the spirit of staying in the same price range as sways, would those springs be noticeable/help with handling improvement ?

Think about what you want the car to do and then look at spring rates. Better handling is different for everyone and their intention.

Do you just DD? AutoX? HPDE? Canyon runs?
What do you not like about the current handling?

I wanted to ask this question too but never did. I ended up recently buying the Eibach Front & Rear Sway bars from TireRack (they seem to have the best price shipped to CA). I'm lowered on the Pro-Kits, have upgraded to some stickier 18" tires, have a front tower strut bar, and one of my buddies told me sway bars can make a big difference. Someone can tell me I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, but my guess is that there probably isn't much difference between different brands (besides the fact that some may have more adjustment points). My goal is to just to play around with different settings. I believe that if I really tighten up the rear end, the car would oversteer more - which could be more fun and potentially more dangerous. Obviously, it won't oversteer like a Porsche 918 - RIP Paul Walker - but I want to induce a little more oversteer.

Truth. Unless aesthetics are your goal, don't spend $3000 on upgrading everything, use up $3000 of tires in autocross/track time. Figure out what you want.

I got the eibach sways. I felt a larger diffrence from sways then the springs. It's hard to describe. It turns in easier and feels flatter in turns

If the sways are your first mod all they will do is make the car ride a bit harsher and make it a bit more prone to lose traction. The difference won't be world changing, but it will be there. For straight up performance and handling gains a good set of performance tires is the best bang for the buck.
